What will I learn?
Codegogy is a one day professional development program, delivered independently online or in person by the desinger (Joshua Gillingham), aimed at equipping B.C. teachers with the basic knowledge and skills needed to teach coding in the classroom as part of the Applied Design, Skills, and Technology (ADST) curriculum. This program does not assume any background in computer programming but does require basic knowledge of a computer including navigating the internet, saving files, and typing with a keyboard. While certain coding concepts for the programming language p5.js have been selected for Codegogy, a broader and deeper selection of instructional material on the language and on coding concepts in general can be found at the end of this session in the Resources section.
